Item Basics [Read this too!]

Items work in different ways, depending on what their type is.

Types

Health Items

Items that restore health. They may or may not also give you a max health boost.

Mana Items

Like Health Items, except effecting your Mana instead.

Blade Weapons

Weapons with blades, such as sword, knives, and daggers.

Mallet-Based Weapons

Weapons like huge hammers, powerful mallets, and other things that you can flatten other people with.

Flails

Self-explanatory. Anything on a chain that you can swing in people's faces. Never requires ammunition.

Ranged Weapons

Any kind of weapon you can use to attack someone from afar. These include bows, crossbows, and guns. All ranged weapons use some kind of ammunition, be it arrows, bullets, or even Mana.

Arrows

Simple ammo type, used by most bows and crossbows. Arrows can come in a number of different styles and types, such as elemental, explosive, and even grapple arrows.

Bullets

Bullets come in a number of different shapes and sizes, and can be made from a number of different materials, including pure magic. Guns will not fire bullets they're not designed for, so make sure to always have the right kind of bullets on hand. Totals of bullets higher than 1000 are labeled with a ~ instead of a number in your inventory.

Energy Cells

Essentially "batteries" containing energy used in most energy weapons. There are several different kinds of cells, and each works with a different weapon with different capacities. Note that total energy count is shown in your inventory, not actual cell count. When a full cell is used, it is removed from your inventory. All impartially-used cells are recharged when you join another roleplay. Energy totals above 10000 are replaced with a ~ in your inventory.

Armor

Probably the thing most vital to your survival in roleplays, armor absorbs and/or deflects damage. There are several kinds, and any armor above lvl 100 is classified as God-Class armor. Armor can be forged OR bought. Here's a list of the basic types:

  • Basic Armor (Any armor made out of a single material. Rarely provides non-defense bonuses.)
  • Energy Armor (Things like forcefields, magical shields, and otherwise anything energy-based. Sometimes provides other non-defense bonuses, most often being speed bonuses.)
  • Magical Armor (Armor pieced together with magic. Often provides non-defense bonuses as well as the expected defense bonus. Most magical armor gives the wearer the ability of flight.)
  • Elemental Armor (Armor forged from the elements, comes in each possible element. Always provides some sort of additional bonus, be it a speed bonus, a health bonus, or otherwise.)


Amulets and other accessories

You can buy (or forge) special amulets and accessories to give yourself boosts in various stats. For basic stat boosts, you can buy/forge an Amulet of Aurorus, which gives Mana Regeneration along with other stat boosts.

Forgeables

Things that can be used to forge items. These include metal ingots, basic frames, and other things. Basic Amulets are included in the "Forgeables" category.

Does that mean that if we want a particular weapon or item added to the store, we should just post here with a description of said item/weapon?

Yeah, pretty much. Although it's recommended that you create a shop to sell it in as well. (Shops have to be approved as well.)

Do the items have to be original, or could they be taken from other games?

Start a shop?

OK. In that case, could I start a shop? It would be an equipment shop (armor/weaponry/accessories), and would have some forgable items as well.

OK. My store is officially open for business! It doesn't have TOO many items yet, but the ones that it does have require approval. Keep in mind that I'm not good at judging things like prices or attack power, so if you want me to change any of that to make it more fair, I will.
